It makes you lazy, a human someone that knows how to shoot thinks about a lot of things taking a shot, how fast the ship is going, their course, the kind of ship, what ammo you are shooting, previous evasion patterns, things that might change the course of the ship (like dbs for example), etc. Perhaps going 1 vs 1 against a good player is not a huge advantage, but randoms consist of players at all skill levels. Do you just want attention or do you really believe what you say? Have you cheated in the past and no longer cheat? Do you cheat now? What is it? Why would you say it is not an advantage and how would you even know? I can't figure out why good players would practically defend the aim assist and attack people who are concerned about it. Unless these aim bots are flawed, or are very distracting, I can't imagine a good player saying they would not give an advantage in randoms, especially with the number of people who do sail in a straight line. Taking those players out efficiently while dodging is an advantage as you are taking their guns off the field. I would say 25 to 50% of players often sail in a straight line for a period of time. I assume the aim bot would tell you exactly where to shoot which is an advantage. If you have some kind of target on exactly where to shoot for someone going in a straight line, that would be an advantage, especially when dodging and firing. Ships going in a straight line but at an angle can be difficult to judge. Good players are dodging any trying to fire. How can any good player not think it could give an advantage? There are way too many people who do sail in a straight line. I really have to question all of these people who say it is only for bads.
